The stethoscope

A stethoscope amplifies internal body sounds, allowing clinicians to listen to the heart, lungs, and bowel without any invasive procedures.

Blood test

A blood test measures the components of a small blood sample, allowing clinicians to assess organ function, detect infection, and monitor disease with only a minor needle prick.

Group Task: Nurse

First, we will complete two nursing assessments together. We will listen to a patient's heart rate and breathing and then analyse their blood test results.

First let's listen to the recording together
